Ms. Yung-ling Hsu
Well-known artist and illustrator

Over the years, I have tried to adopt a mindset similar to the "holistic view" of flying eagles and explore the “space and circumstances of human being” like a wide-angle lens. Through verifying interdisciplinary works, I hoped to travel through some "alternative" creative journeys.

From 2D illustrations and Painting, Images to Presentation, Costumes, Furniture Style Sculpture, Space, Landscape and Environment, etc, my public artwork of "Garden Outside Birdcage” in 2000 has exhibited the reflection about man and the urban landscape, whereas the “Travelling the New Century”, produced in 2002, has illustrated the experiment-oriented painting installation. Likewise, the “Art Space Complex” that I exhibited in 2010 was a miniature of art that interpreted personal creative concept in the overall context.

The inner nature of our mind may have a greater demand for “breathing space”. Interestingly, it was from this "hypoxic” state of creative ecology that I gained my original momentum to continuously move forward and seek “new and green” domains while exploring in the “Wilderness of Art”.

Mr. Wilson Chi-lan Lam
CEO I Creative Director / Macau Creations

1975, Wilson Lam started his design career. 1983, immigrated to Canada. 1989, graduated from OCAD University. 1993, established Wilcodesign. 1996, 1st prize winner of Air Macau Aviation Logo Design Competition. 2002, Gold Medal of China Branding Design also invited by Tsinghua University as ‘Design and Branding’ guest lecturer. 2003, his “Macau Traditional Tools” stamp design won the Golden Award and “The Most Beautiful Miniature Sheet” on 7th Stamp World Cup (Paris, France). 2008, invited by Macau Post to create the 3rd round Macau Lunar Year stamp collections. 12 sets of 60 stamps on Five Element theme, 5 stamps released annually. 2009, invited by Canada Post to be the Canada Year of the Gold Tiger stamp designer. Became the 1st person designed Lunar stamp collections for both Canada and Macau in 2010. In the same year, Wilson established Macau Creations Ltd. comprehensively promoting the creative industries of Macau.

Gary Taxali is an award-winning illustrator and one of Canada¡¦s foremost contemporary artists. His portfolio includes work for clients such Time, Rolling Stone, GQ, Esquire and The New York Times.
